Hales is delighted to announce the inlcusion of Virginia Jaramillo and Kay WalkingStick in Making Their Mark, at The Shah Garg Foundation through 27 January 2024. 

 

Making Their Mark champions the lives and work of women artists, bringing into vibrant relief their intergenerational relationships, formal and material breakthroughs, and historical impact. Through drawings, mixed media works, paintings, sculptures, and textile works, the artists of Making Their Mark rechart art history through their singular, iconic practices.

 

Following the New York exhibition, Making Their Mark will travel to the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive in October 2024, co-curated by Margot Norton. It will then journey to the Kemper Art Museum in St. Louis in September 2025.
