Hales is delighted to announce that Virginia Jaramillo's first major retrospective exhibition, Virginia Jaramillo: Principle of Equivalence is now on view at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, Kansas City, MO, USA.

In conjunction with Jaramillo's retrospective, The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art will host a Curator-led tour of the exhibition. Director of Curatorial Affairs Erin Dziedzic will lead a walkthrough of Virginia Jaramillo: Principle of Equivalence on 7 June 2023 at 2pm.

Additionally, The Kemper welcomes the return of newEar Contemporary Chamber Ensemble as they present a performance series connected to Virginia Jaramillo: Principles of Equivalence. NewEar is a professional chamber music ensemble featuring the music of living composers. Programming a wide range of musicians, instrumentations and styles, newEar often blurs the boundaries of classical art music, rock, jazz, world music, and the avant garde, creating eclectic musical interpretations. These concerts will take place on Saturday 10 June and Saturday 15th July from 1.30-3pm.
